Young Icebreakers 7th Anniversary Dinner

On May 21st 2015, the Young Icebreakers celebrated their seventh Anniversary Dinner. The evening started with a drinks reception, followed by a sumptuous dinner at Bright Courtyard, including some of their signature dishes. After an introduction from co-chair of the Young Icebreakers, Adam Lacey, short speeches were made by representatives of the sponsoring companies – Madam Chen from ICBC and Richard Reid from KPMG. The keynote speaker was H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming. The ambassador’s speech congratulated the Young Icebreakers on becoming a stronger organisation over the years he has attended our events, and then went on to highlight some of China’s future opportunities centred on the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Ed Holroyd Pearce, co-chair of the Young Icebreakers thanked the Ambassador and welcomed him to attend many more Young Icebreaker dinners in the future. Stephen Perry, Chairman of the 48 Group Club then assisted in drawing the three prizes for the business card draw.

The atmosphere was relaxed and convivial, and many attendees stayed after the dinner to network and catch up with old and new friends.
